Arborist Apprentice / Groundskeeper

The East Hampton Department of Public Works is seeking a candidate with experience in Tree work, Climbing, Bucket truck, Chipper operation, Stump Grinding, Plant identification and general landscape care experience to work alongside our full-time arborist.

The Department of Public Works is responsible for streets, litter, trees, buildings and grounds owned by the Village of East Hampton and candidates will be required to perform other duties not listed.

CDL & Bucket certification is preferable, but Village can provide training.

Candidates must have good communication skills

5-day work week with 2 hrs. every other weekend (40-42 Hrs. wk.)

This position requires availability for emergency call back for storm and emergency cleanup.
