Appointed Boards
The following Boards are by appointment only. Members of boards are considered Municipal Officers and are appointed for specific terms. The Mayor nominates and the Board of Trustees appoint. Once approved, the Board Member has a term limit and may resign prior to its expiration. The Board of Trustees may then appoint another individual to fill the remaining time.
To be appointed to a Village Board, an individual must be a Village Resident and 18 years of age.

- Ethics Board
Committees
The following committees are only a part of the governing body and are specifically formed in order to tackle important subjects facing Village Residents. The committees are made up of both East Hampton Village and East Hampton Town Residents and have the abilities to recommend actions to the Village Board of Trustees.
