Robert Jahoda

As an Ordinance/Building Inspector for the Village, Robert Jahoda performs inspections to determine compliance with state and local regulations regarding building, zoning, fire safety, housing and other areas concerning public order and safety. To fulfill the mandates of this specialized role, Robert attends annual training hosted by the New York Department of State.

Robert has been employed full time with the Village since 2005, when he was hired as Traffic Control Supervisor. He transitioned to the Building Department in 2016.

For recreation and exercise, Robert runs five to six miles every morning before work. It helps jump start his day, clear his mind and get ready for a fresh day working alongside his “great team of co-workers” – who are, according to Robert, the best part of his job.
